Stafford House School of English was founded in 1952, and the London school opened in 2011. With over 60 years of experience, Stafford House remains focused on maintaining the highest standards and developing each student’s full potential. The school is located in upmarket Bloomsbury, just a three-minute walk from Holborn Underground station and within easy reach of the British Museum, Oxford Street, and all of London’s major attractions. The historic building is full of character yet equipped with modern technology, including interactive whiteboards and free Wi-Fi throughout.
Excellent Facilities and Expert Teaching
The medium-sized school has 20 spacious, light-filled classrooms, along with a student lounge, IT lounge, library, café, canteen, and self-study room. Stafford House uses the Communicative Approach, meaning you’ll learn English by using it—not just through grammar lectures and worksheets. Teachers are experienced, regularly trained, and take weekly feedback to adapt lessons to each class. Monthly one-to-one tutorials with senior staff ensure you stay on track to meet your goals.
