Every week BSC York organizes varied social activities perfect for meeting new people and practicing English. Activities include meals out, museum trips, live music nights, theatre and cinema visits. The popular Shambles Market offers international street food just 3 minutes away. Monday-Thursday activities are completely FREE, while Friday-Sunday activities usually have costs but students can use ID cards for discounts. Students can bring lunch to school lounges, courtyards, nearby squares and parks.
