This course pairs 20 lessons per week of General English with 15 hours per week of volunteering in a real workplace. Students improve their English in the classroom each morning, then apply it in a professional setting during the afternoon. Work placements are arranged in offices, shops or other English-speaking environments around Portsmouth. The combination of structured learning and authentic workplace practice accelerates language development, particularly for students at intermediate level and above.
