Young Learners courses combine English lessons with a full activity programme — sports, arts, cultural visits, day trips. Students are typically aged 8-17, and classes are grouped by age and level so the content and pace are right.
Mornings are structured classroom time. Afternoons are activities. The idea is that students keep using English outside the classroom without it feeling like more school. Staff are experienced with younger students and there is supervision throughout the day.
Most programmes run during school holidays — summer is the big one, but Easter and half-term courses exist too. Accommodation is usually homestay or residential. Many schools include airport transfers and offer 24-hour pastoral care, which matters if your child is travelling alone.
